Since early 2022 I have helping develop, nurture and run the Dukinfield Craft Cafe, a wonderful drop in creative session in the heart of Dukinfield, Tameside. The group was born out of a legacy project with the Royal Exchange and has grown in to a glorious community arts hive of activity, now supported by the Jigsaw Homes Foundation.
The group is made up of 15 regular participants who engage with theatre, activism and crafts weekly. They have created cook books, exhibitions and theatre performances to name but a few! This is an open group free to anyone who would like to join.
